How It Works:
Amoxicillin kills bacteria by disrupting their cell wall synthesis, while clavulanic acid inhibits β-lactamases, enzymes that confer resistance. This combination provides enhanced effectiveness against a broad range of bacterial pathogens.

Tablets should be taken with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Typically, one tablet is taken three times daily. Duration of treatment is determined by a physician based on the condition.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to penicillins or β-lactam antibiotics
Severe hepatic impairment
History of cholestatic jaundice related to amoxicillin/clavulanate
Infectious mononucleosis
