How the product works:

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase
Ornidazole is a nitroimidazole derivative that disrupts DNA of anaerobic bacteria and protozoa

Recommended for:

Acute diarrhoea and intestinal infections caused by mixed pathogens
Urinary tract infections
Pelvic inflammatory diseases
Post-operative prophylaxis in GI surgery

As prescribed for protozoal infections (e.g. giardiasis, amoebiasis)

Bacterial and protozoal diarrhoea
Amoebiasis, giardiasis
Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
Pelvic inflammatory diseases
Respiratory, skin and soft tissue infections

Take tablets orally after meals with water. Dosage and duration should be determined by a physician based on the severity and type of infection.

Contraindications:

Allergy to fluoroquinolones or nitroimidazoles
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Under 18 years of age
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
Organic brain diseases

Side effects:

Nausea, abdominal pain, metallic taste
Diarrhoea or constipation
Headache, dizziness
Sleep disturbances, anxiety
Skin rash, itching
Elevated liver enzymes
Rare — seizures, photosensitivity
