How it works:

Inhibits tyrosine kinases involved in tumour growth and metastasis
Blocks angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels that supply the tumour
Disrupts signalling pathways responsible for cancer cell proliferation

Recommended for:

Patients with renal cell carcinoma
Those with hepatocellular carcinoma after sorafenib therapy
Individuals with medullary thyroid carcinoma

Renal cell carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, medullary thyroid cancer, metastatic tumours.

Take orally once daily without chewing, with water, preferably on an empty stomach. Dosage must be determined by a physician individually.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to cabozantinib
Severe hepatic impairment
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Under 18 years of age
Concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
