Advanced or metastatic breast cancer, ovarian cancer, multiple myeloma (in combination), AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma

The lyophilised powder is reconstituted and administered as an intravenous infusion according to protocols set by an oncologist. Dose depends on diagnosis, patient body weight, and clinical status.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to doxorubicin or other anthracyclines
Severe bone marrow suppression
Decompensated heart failure
Pregnancy and lactation

Bone marrow suppression (leucopenia, thrombocytopenia, anaemia)
Nausea, vomiting, hair loss
