Binds to HER2 receptors on tumour cells
Inhibits cell growth and division in HER2-positive cells
Activates immune response to destroy cancer cells
Enhances the efficacy of chemotherapy when combined

Recommended for:

Women with HER2-positive metastatic or early-stage breast cancer
Patients with HER2-positive metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal cancer
Monotherapy or in combination with chemotherapy
Only after confirmation of HER2 overexpression

HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer
Early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer (adjuvant use)
HER2-positive metastatic gastric cancer

The product is administered via intravenous infusion. The lyophilized powder should be reconstituted with the provided solvent prior to use. Dosage and treatment schedules are determined by an oncologist based on patient weight and clinical condition. The first infusion is given slowly with close monitoring.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to trastuzumab or murine proteins
Severe heart failure
Concurrent anthracycline therapy without cardiac monitoring
Pregnancy and lactation
Paediatric use under 18 years

Side effects:

Fever, chills, fatigue during infusion
Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain
Upper respiratory infections
Heart failure, decreased ejection fraction
Allergic or anaphylactic reactions
Skin rash, itching
Elevated liver enzymes
