How it works:
Recommended for:
Acute hypoglycemia in diabetic patients; emergency treatment when oral carbohydrates cannot be administered; supportive therapy in beta-blocker overdose (as advised by a doctor).
The solution is prepared immediately before injection by reconstituting the lyophilized powder. Administered subcutaneously, intramuscularly or intravenously by healthcare personnel or trained individuals. Oral carbohydrates should be taken as soon as the patient is able. Dose and route are determined by a physician.
