Artesunate rapidly targets Plasmodium falciparum and other species, disrupting parasite metabolism and leading to their death
Suitable for use in initial treatment and as part of combination therapy

Recommended for:

Patients diagnosed with tropical or plasmodial malaria
Travellers returning from malaria-endemic regions
Adults and children (as prescribed by a physician)

Treatment of uncomplicated or severe malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae.
