How it works:
Nitazoxanide interferes with essential enzymes in parasites and viruses, inhibiting their growth and reproduction. It shows broad efficacy against protozoa, helminths, and enteric viruses like rotavirus and norovirus, making it suitable for various gastrointestinal infections.
Recommended For:
Diarrhoea caused by Giardia lamblia, Cryptosporidium parvum
Amoebiasis and other protozoal infections
Viral gastroenteritis management
Travellers to regions with high parasitic risk
Adults and children above 12 years (under physician supervision)

Tablets are taken orally with food. The typical treatment lasts for 3 days, with one tablet taken twice daily, unless otherwise prescribed by a physician. Dosage and duration depend on diagnosis and patient’s age.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to nitazoxanide or any formulation component
Children under 12 years (for 500mg strength)
Severe liver impairment
Pregnancy and breastfeeding (use only if advised by a doctor)

Headache
Bright yellow urine (temporary and harmless)
