Artesunate is a derivative of artemisinin with potent and fast-acting antimalarial properties, targeting parasites in red blood cells.
Recommended For:
Patients with confirmed malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum
Treatment of uncomplicated malaria
As part of combination therapy for severe cases
Uncomplicated malaria
Drug-resistant malaria
Combination therapy in severe or complicated malaria
RADINATE should be taken orally, preferably after food, exactly as prescribed by a physician. Dosage depends on body weight and clinical status. Do not modify the regimen without medical advice.
Contraindications:
Known hypersensitivity to artesunate
Severe hepatic impairment
Pregnancy (first trimester)
Children under 5kg body weight (unless recommended by physician)
