How it works:
Voriconazole inhibits ergosterol synthesis, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, leading to disruption and cell death. It is highly effective against Aspergillus spp., Candida spp., Fusarium spp., and other resistant fungal pathogens.
Recommended for:
Taken orally, preferably 1 hour before or after meals. Dosage and duration of treatment are determined individually by the physician depending on infection type, severity, and patient’s condition.
