HYALGAN is administered via intra-articular injection and must be performed exclusively by a qualified healthcare professional. The standard treatment regimen involves one injection into the affected joint once per week. The course of therapy typically consists of 3–5 injections and is determined by the physician based on the severity of joint damage and the patient’s clinical response to treatment.
If necessary, excess synovial fluid may be aspirated from the joint cavity prior to administration. The injection must be carried out under strict sterile conditions and in accordance with proper intra-articular injection techniques. Self-administration of the medication is not recommended.
Contraindications:
Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid
Infection at injection site
Active joint inflammation
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Children under 18 (safety not established)
