How the product works:

Inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE)
Reduces formation of angiotensin II (a vasoconstrictor)
Lowers peripheral vascular resistance
Enhances cardiac output and reduces the risk of stroke or heart attack

Recommended for:

Patients with high blood pressure
Chronic heart failure patients
Secondary prevention post-myocardial infarction
Individuals with high cardiovascular risk
Patients with diabetic or non-diabetic nephropathy

Arterial hypertension
Chronic heart failure
Secondary prevention of myocardial infarction and stroke
Diabetic and non-diabetic nephropathy
Stable ischemic heart disease

Take the tablets orally, with or without food, with a glass of water. The dose is selected individually, starting with the lowest effective dose under medical supervision. Maintenance dosage depends on therapeutic response and comorbid conditions.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Ramipril or other ACE inhibitors
History of angioedema
Pregnancy and lactation
Severe renal impairment
Renal artery stenosis
Concomitant use with aliskiren in diabetic patients

Side effects:

Dizziness, fatigue
Dry cough
Impaired kidney function
Hyperkalaemia
Allergic skin reactions
Taste disturbances
Hypotension
