TERLIWELL INJECTION provides strong vasoconstriction by activating vasopressin receptors, effectively reducing portal pressure.

Recommended for:

Acute variceal bleeding in liver cirrhosis
Portal hypertension management
Hypotension and septic shock therapy
Short-term blood pressure control in emergencies

Control of bleeding from oesophageal varices due to liver cirrhosis, treatment of hypotension in septic shock, vascular tone support during surgeries.

Administered slowly via intravenous injection under hospital supervision. Dosage is adjusted individually based on clinical status. Prolonged use is not recommended.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to terlipressin or vasopressin
Severe coronary artery disease
Bronchial asthma
Pregnancy (especially first trimester)
History of arterial hypertension

Side effects:

Bradycardia, hypertension
Chest pain
Ischemia of skin, bowel, myocardium
Nausea, abdominal cramps
Electrolyte imbalance
