TENVIR contains tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, which blocks the replication of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The drug is effectively used for the treatment of HIV infection as part of antiretroviral therapy (ART) and for preventing virus transmission. It reduces viral load and improves the patient's immune system condition. It is recommended in combination with other antiretroviral drugs.
The product is used for:
Treatment of HIV infection (as part of combination therapy)
Prevention of HIV transmission (e.g., mother-to-child transmission prevention)
HIV prevention in individuals at high risk of exposure
TENVIR is taken orally, typically 1 tablet (300 mg) once a day. The tablet should be taken whole with water, with or without food, as directed by the doctor.
Contraindications:
