How it works:
Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF) is a prodrug of tenofovir, which inhibits the reverse transcriptase enzyme in HIV-1 and HBV. By blocking viral DNA replication, it reduces viral load and slows disease progression. It is commonly used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs.

Patients with chronic hepatitis B
Individuals previously treated with nucleotide analogues
