How it works:

Inhibits HIV integrase enzyme essential for viral DNA integration
Disrupts viral replication cycle and reduces viral load
Supports immune system recovery with long-term use

Recommended for:

Adults with confirmed HIV-1 infection
Adolescents from 12 years of age weighing ≥ 40 kg
As part of combination antiretroviral therapy (ART)
Treatment-naïve patients or those with resistance to other drug classes

Treatment of HIV-1 infection in combination with other antiretroviral agents

Take orally with or without food, usually twice daily or as directed by your physician. Long-term administration is required under regular medical monitoring.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to raltegravir or excipients
Children under 12 years
Use with caution in renal and hepatic impairment
