How it works:
Domperidone blocks dopamine receptors, enhances gastric and intestinal motility, accelerates food passage, and prevents nausea and vomiting. It improves digestion and reduces abdominal discomfort.

Recommended for:

Nausea and vomiting of various origins
Functional dyspepsia
Patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Sensation of stomach fullness and slow digestion
As supportive therapy for drug-induced nausea

Nausea and vomiting (including drug-induced)
Delayed gastric emptying
Dyspepsia, heartburn, bloating
GERD and related symptoms

Taken orally 15–30 minutes before meals. Dosage and treatment duration are determined by the physician according to diagnosis and patient’s condition.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to domperidone
Gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation
Prolactin-secreting pituitary tumours
Severe hepatic impairment
Concomitant use of QT-prolonging drugs
Pregnancy and breastfeeding (without medical advice)

Dry mouth
Abdominal pain
Changes in bowel habits
Headache, dizziness
Drowsiness
Increased prolactin levels (rare)
