How the product works:

Omeprazole inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in gastric parietal cells, reducing acid production
Protects the gastric and duodenal mucosa from acid damage
Promotes healing of erosions and ulcers

Recommended for:

Patients with excess stomach acid
For treatment of peptic ulcers and gastritis
In cases of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
For dyspepsia and heartburn relief

As prevention of ulcers during long-term NSAID therapy

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or other PPIs

Suspicion of gastrointestinal malignancy
