Take the tablets orally with food and water. Dosage and duration depend on patient’s weight, viral genotype, and treatment protocol. Commonly used with interferon alfa or direct-acting antivirals such as sofosbuvir.

Contraindications:

Renal insufficiency
Decompensated heart disease
Hypersensitivity to ribavirin
