CARELASH works by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid via the uveoscleral pathway, effectively lowering intraocular pressure. When applied externally to the upper lash line, it enhances eyelash length, thickness, and darkness.
Recommended for:
Patients with open-angle glaucoma
Individuals with ocular hypertension
People with sparse eyelashes or cosmetic concerns
Safe cosmetic users with no contraindications
Open-angle glaucoma
Elevated intraocular pressure
Eyelash hypotrichosis (including cosmetic use)
For glaucoma, instil one drop into the affected eye once daily, preferably in the evening. For cosmetic use, apply a small amount to the upper eyelid lash line once a day. Avoid contact with the eye or lower eyelid. Always follow doctor’s instructions regarding dosage and use.
Hypersensitivity to Bimatoprost
Under 18 years of age
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Active eye infections (uveitis, conjunctivitis)
Sleep apnoea or severe respiratory conditions
Eye redness
Burning, itching, foreign body sensation
Darkening of eyelid skin
Iris colour change
Increased eyelash growth (as a side effect in glaucoma treatment)
