How it works: Procarbazine is an alkylating agent that interferes with DNA synthesis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. It is highly effective in combination regimens like MOPP or BEACOPP.

HODPRO is taken orally as per oncologist’s instructions. Tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of water, preferably with food. Dosage is individualised based on patient’s condition, weight, and chemotherapy protocol.
Contraindicated in severe hepatic or renal impairment, bone marrow suppression, and pregnancy.
Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, leukopenia, neutropenia, loss of appetite, and fatigue. Regular blood and liver function monitoring is essential.
