How it works:
Tamoxifen blocks oestrogen receptors in breast tissue, inhibiting the growth of hormone-dependent cancer cells. It significantly reduces recurrence risk and improves long-term outcomes in breast cancer patients.
Recommended for:
Women with oestrogen receptor-positive (ER+) breast cancer
As adjuvant therapy after surgery to prevent recurrence
Men with breast cancer
Off-label: Women with infertility due to anovulation
Under strict medical supervision
Treatment and prevention of oestrogen-dependent breast cancer
Metastatic breast cancer
Other oncological or gynaecological indications as per doctor’s decision
TAMODEX tablets are taken orally with water without chewing. The usual dosage is 20–40 mg per day, sometimes divided into two doses. Duration of treatment is determined by the physician based on individual clinical needs.
