How it works:
Avanafil works by selectively inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, promoting smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It begins working within 15 minutes and remains active for up to 6 hours. It does not induce erection without sexual arousal.
Recommended for:
Men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction
Patients requiring rapid onset of action
Those intolerant or non-responsive to other PDE5 inhibitors
To be used under urologist or andrologist supervision
Erectile dysfunction of various aetiologies in adult men
Take one tablet orally about 15–30 minutes prior to intended sexual activity. Can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed 100 mg per day. Dosage should be prescribed and adjusted by a healthcare professional.
Contraindications:
Known hypersensitivity to avanafil or any tablet component
Concurrent use of nitrates or nitric oxide donors
Severe cardiovascular disease
Recent myocardial infarction or stroke
Children and adolescents under 18 years
Side effects:
Headache, dizziness
Flushing, nasal congestion
Visual disturbances (temporary colour changes)
Nausea, indigestion
Palpitations (rare)
