How the product works:
Inhibits phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), lowering production of inflammatory cytokines
Improves skin condition in psoriasis
Reduces joint pain and inflammation
Enhances quality of life in chronic skin and joint conditions
Recommended for:
Adults with moderate to severe psoriasis
Patients diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis
Individuals unresponsive to or intolerant of other therapies
Treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in adults
Treatment of psoriatic arthritis
Taken orally, usually twice daily, with or without food. Dosage is individualised and may require titration as prescribed by a physician.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Apremilast
Severe renal impairment
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Paediatric use
