Febuxostat is a potent xanthine oxidase inhibitor that reduces the production of uric acid in the body. FEBUTAZ helps prevent the formation of urate crystals and relieves inflammation.
Recommended for:

Patients with chronic gout
Persistent hyperuricemia
Prevention of acute gout attacks
Patients intolerant to allopurinol

Chronic hyperuricemia in patients with gout
Prevention of recurrent gout flares

Take orally once daily, with or without food. Dosage may be adjusted based on uric acid levels and clinical response under medical supervision.

Contraindications:

Known hypersensitivity to febuxostat
Severe hepatic impairment
Acute gout flare during initiation

Side Effects:

Gastrointestinal issues (nausea, diarrhoea)
Elevated liver enzymes
Headache, dizziness
Allergic reactions (rash, itching)
